Ask Penny Extension — Privacy Policy

The short version: everything happens on your device. We collect nothing.

What the extension does

When you open an Amazon product page, Ask Penny reads the price, the crossed-out "was" price, and the product title that are already visible on that page, and shows you a deal verdict in a small card. All scoring happens locally in your browser.

What we collect

Nothing. The extension makes no network requests, has no analytics, no tracking, and no accounts. It never sees or touches your Amazon login, order history, payment details, or anything beyond the visible product page you're on.

What is stored

A small running tally (number of checks) may be kept in your browser's local extension storage, on your device only. Uninstalling the extension deletes it.

The verdict card includes optional links to price-comparison searches and to bestdealsonline.us. As an Amazon Associate, BestDealsOnline earns from qualifying purchases made through its links. Following a link is always your choice.
