Questions people ask

How do I know if an Amazon discount is real?

Compare today's price to what the product usually sells for — not to the crossed-out "was" price. If a "50% off" tag is measured against a list price nobody ever paid, the real discount can be close to zero. That comparison is exactly what this checker does.

What does the 0–100 score mean?

It weighs the real discount, how rare a price this low is, and basic trust signals. Under 45: no real deal. 45–65: modest but genuine. 65+: a strong drop. Extreme discounts get a caution flag instead of a blind "buy."

Should I buy now or wait?

15–35% below the usual price is a genuine deal that may repeat. Past 35% is rare — if you were buying anyway, that's the moment. At or above the usual price, waiting costs you nothing.
